Sigma-Pi-Sigma Information

Sigma-Pi-Sigma is the Physics Honor Society. Membership is an honor reserved for outstanding physics students and professional physicists. Membership requirements for students include:

  • completion of three full-time semesters of college.
  • completion of four physics courses required for the physics major.
  • an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a physics GPA of at least 3.3.

Sigma-Pi-Sigma installations occur no more than once a year, usually in the spring. If you need more information about Sigma-Pi-Sigma contact one the chapter officers.
