Welcome to the Physics 427 homepage.
This semester we're going to be focusing on temperature control, measurement, and related areas. We'll probably get side-tracked onto capacitance measurement, also, just because I have some interesting ideas in that area and I haven't tried them yet.
In the process, you'll learn a fair amount about circuits, LabVIEW, and general hardware-hacking. As will I, as usual...
Schedule
Note that the official schedule for the campus puts this course at 9:30--11:30 or something. That's up for discussion, since it's a small course and we can have it whenever it fits everyone's schedule. If you're having a schedule problem don't worry about it, we'll figure something out!
